Date Effectivtive pattern in AX 2012

Yesterday, I have read a white paper describing new Date effective pattern in the dynamics.

It demonstrates the two examples (Cust Interest, HCM Position) to describe the following topics

·        The difference between the two types of valid time state tables

·        How valid time state tables are integrated with the security framework

·        Various update modes

·        How to use the validtimestate keyword in queries

·        Runtime behaviors

·        Scenarios that are not supported by the framework

The paper also suggests design patterns for forms that use valid time state tables.
